New guy and new pool owner

Hi all,

My family and I just purchased a 30' Vogue Simbio AGP and are very exicited to get it up and running. I am planning on using the "BBB" method and I have the Taylor K-2006 test kit. I have read "Pool School" once and starting to read it again. Learned an awful lot so far. Look forward to getting to know other members.

Thanks for the warm welcome... Quick question..Myself along with some neighbors are installing the pool this weekend. I have the ground prepped and ready to go. Should I put 12"x12" patio pavers under each vertical upright?

I am going to use "Washed Mason's Sand" as a base for the liner....Will 2" of sand be sufficent?

You need to put some type of "blocks" under the uprights and 12 x 12's are as good as any.


2" of sand is fine. Are you using foam cove or sand cove?
