Hayward Viio Turbo sweep hose

Is there a trick to getting the sweep hose off a Hayward Viio Turbo for replacement?

I bought a new sweep hose, but can't get the old one off. It looks like it screws off (white plastic), but it won't. It just keeps circling around!! Has anyone had this problem?

Never mind! We finally figured it out! We were turning the screw the wrong way!! It's backwards!!!

Don't you hate it when they use left handed threads and don't mark it as such!
