Filter Drain location

Hi I am a Newby and on my 2nd pool but its been about 20 years. I am under construction and have installed a 8000 gallon San Juan seaside IG. I think the installer did not pay good attention to the Zodiac CL460 Cartridge filter drain location as it is about 6" from the pump motor an pointed right at it. I hate when this happens its like sending food back to the kitchen. Anyone have advice as the project is getting close to completion? The pool shell install went great as San Juan owner and crew wanted to be present.

you are right, tell him to move it. Many people make that mistake though, they forget about the drain plugs when they are focusing on the rest of the plumbing
