Well I have to get bearings put in the pump and I will not have it for about 5 days. I just about had the pool ready to go and now this. Do I keep adding bleach and keep my FC at shock level or just wait? It is a 10,000 inground fiberglass pool.
There is no practical way to shock the pool without a pump for circulation.
If the water is clear and algae free (seems unlikely from your description) you can add enough chlorine without the pump to keep things stable. If you go that route, you need to brush the entire pool after pouring bleach around the edge. The brushing will mix the chlorine into the water. But that approach isn't safe with shock levels of chlorine.
