Why do they suggest cpvc for the intelliflow pump?

Normally you just use a short piece of CPVC, several inches, screwed into the pump and then switch to regular PVC. CPVC is stronger so it handles the threaded connection more reliably, and it is more heat resistant, so it won't melt as quickly if the pump gets really hot.
