How much liquid chlorine to lower 1 lb of AA

How much Walmart 6% liquid chlorine in fluid ounces does it take to neutralize 1 lb of AA in a 10,000 gallon pool after AA treatment?

Apologies I know the answer is here somewhere in the forum but I cannot find it.

Bleach doesn't neutralize AA, baking soda and washing soda (dense ash) do. Go by your pH and alkalinity levels. I suggest using the pool calculator (www.poolcalculator.com) to do it.

Chlorine and ascorbic acid do destroy each other, quite rapidly as it happens. That isn't the same thing as neutralizing an acid with a base, but it is valid to call it neutralizing.

3.5 oz of ascorbic acid will neutralize 1 ppm of chlorine in 10,000 gallons of water. So I get 3 quarts of 6% bleach. However, I don't have anything to double check that against.

I also get about 3 quarts.

100 fluid ounces (3-1/8 quarts) of 6% bleach neutralizes 1 pound of ascorbic acid.
