We are replacing our pool deck and the liner in our 16 x 32 vinyl liner pool ( standard 3’ shallow end, 8’ diving well). We are planning to add the 12 volt Savi Melody 14watt pool lights and are not sure if 2 lights would be adequate or if we should go with 3 lights ? Anyone have experience with these lights ? Are these lights dimmable ? Also, I assume for mounting I would evenly space the lights along the 32’ side of my pool shining away from house, but how far below the waterline do you mount? Thanks very much.

I have the same lights-hopefully I can help.
We have an 18 x 32 with the same depths as your pool.
I would recommend 2 lights.
Each at opposite ends of the pool-One each centered on the 16' width facing each other.
This allows for the pool to be "Filled" more evenly with light.
Mine are installed about 8" below the water line.
As I understand it this is about standard.
Due to previous construction I had to have one centered in the shallow end and the other at 90 deg. in the deep end and it is still plenty of light and coverage.
