    Ynothd, Hello from central Ky.

    just bought my very first pool, and know NOTHING about them... lol, Soooo i'll be askin alot of Q's in the very near future. found this site and thought it would be helpful. thanks in advance for your help as I will need lots of it.

    yes, i have been reading pool school, but i will have to ask also. im looking forward to a very wet summer

    ok, im going to set up my new pool and was needing to know how much sand will it take to make a 16' x 4" round base for it? anyone know of a calculator for this?

    2.5 cubic yards. plus about 10% extra for waste. Only ask your questions once on the forum. Folks will find them and respond.

    I have no idea about the sand, I'm probably just going to use enough to level out the pool site when i put it up.
