We've finished the conversion from baqua to chlorine a little over a week ago! Yeah!! Water looks crystal clear. But now we are having problems testing the salt in the pool. The salt test strips and the SWG readings are different. I did take it to the pool store and it was way different. This is what the numbers are saying:

FC - 6
TA - 80
Ph - 7.8
CH 280
CC = 0.5
CYA - 35
Salt strip 660

The SWG says the salt is at 3000. The pool store said 3300. We have done the salt test strips 3 times this morning and we get a range from 460 to 660. The water tastes salty so we don't know which reading to believe. What should we do

Your salt test strips are way off. Something must be wrong with them.

The SWG and the pool store agree within the precision of the test (+-400), so your salt level is certainly around there somewhere.
