I have a 33 round pool with a Hayward 1.5 pump.. my timer is Crud. I need one I can run about 8 to 10 hours with split times. I was wondering what was the best times to run the pump day are night an whats a good timer to get.

You can't beat Intermatic timers but there are lots of other choices too.
