Please help me choose a skimmer

Hello,

What is the difference between these two skimmers on Amazon? (Hydrotools 8940 vs 8940H) What does Hay- Type mean? Will either work with any pool? How do I know if they will fit my pool? Would I be better getting a different skimmer like a wide mouth? Do you just cut a larger hole and drill new holes? I'm trying to order a new liner, skimmer, and start up kit before next weekend to get this thing up and running.

Oh well. I guess I'll just order one and hope it fits.

The opening on both look to be the same but theres a collar or something on the "H" model. I don't know what that's for and that's why I didn't respond ot the post to begin with. Hopefully either would work.

Thank you for the reply. I ordered the one without the h (hay). Maybe the H stands for hayward. Maybe its compatible with those skimmer sizes.? I wasnt sure about that collar either. It should be here by the weekend though.
