2 Solar cover reels for 33' round?

Hello TFP! I absolutely love this site!

We upgraded from a 18' round to a 33' round last year and the solar cover is the biggest problem I have. I know they do not make a roller for a 33' round and I have seen some pictures on here of custom made solar cover reels for this size.

Since we have a deck around our pool, I was wondering if anyone has tried using 2 solar reels and splitting the cover down the middle?

I haven't seen anyone do it but I can't imagine why it wouldn't work. You could even put one on one side and the other on the opposite side if you had to.

Ok, took the plunge and orderd 2 reels.. As soon as I get everything up and running I'll post some results with some pictures of my setup. I am a few weeks away from opening the pool, I am in Michigan and the weather can't make up its mind!
