Spa Heater Sta-Rite SR400NA error code r 6

Hello, I am a newbie. Joined this site out of frustration because my spa (Sta-Rite SR 400NA) heater is malfunctioning. When I turn on the heater, I get an r 6 error code followed by E 01 with the red service light staying on. Could not locate my manual so downloaded from the their web site. Though an extensive trouble shooting flow chart is given, there are no error codes... amazing!! Can any one help me trouble shoot this problem?
