Hello i am new to this but i need some help with my project. I am designing a concrete and block pool with and underground room on one side with a window looking into the pool in it. i have done a lot of research on this type of pool building but i was wondering if anyone has atempted this kind of thing and if they had any tips or suggestions before i get started. i have put a picture so you can kind of get the basics of my plan.thank you.

That looks interesting, just be sure to allow for plenty of air circulation through the underground room.
yeah it will be open on both sides it will have a staircase on bosth sides going up to the pool deck, i have read that you should not use mortar joints in between the block on the outside of the pool, why would this be an issue it seems that if you do not have a bed joint that the block will be unstable when you go to pour the block for the pool.
