Have ? About How To Run Bonding Wire

i put up my above ground pool,it it will be buried about a foot down.i want to run the bonding wire but not sure how,does it have to be one continous wire loop connected to all metal within 5 feet of pool? no breaks in the wire ?if so do i start at the pump run the wire to whatever it has to be connected to and end at the pump?

It does have to be a loop, but there are connectors approved for splicing it and adding connections. I like it to be one continous piece of #8 awg solid bare wire, but it doesn't have to be.
