Temp dipped - RIM flipped

I learned a valuable lesson early Easter Sunday, and wanted to pass it along to other newbies. My pool is not perfectly level, and is the kind with the inflatable ring. The water level was a little higher than I liked and I payed the price when the temps dipped a little low one night. I lost a good 6 inches of water and the only thing going to stop it was the morning sun warming up that ring. There is a lot of air in that ring and cool nights can make for a really rude awakening.

I plan to upgrade to a better pool next spring, I think I can make it. Thanks to this forum, chemical balance is no longer my biggest headache. I have lots of learning left on this pool. Thanks to all!
