Water leak caused damage on circuit board that holds receiver. The light still works, but no longer moves the color wheel. I already replaced the motor and it still doesn't work. It seems that the only option left is to replace the whole thing. The wiring is fully sealed with the unit itself and can’t be unplugged. Do I have to feed brand new wire through the conduit or is there a simpler repair method?

The new unit will come with a cable attached, which must be feed through the conduit. Generally you pull a string through when pulling out the old wire and then pull the new wire through with the string. The other end of the cable terminates in a junction box which shouldn't be too far from the pool.
