    Replacing Old Filter

I need to replace my existing Hayward DE-4800 filter. Should I go with the newer version (DE-4820) or is there a better DE filter out there for my pool? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

If the 4820 has the same plumbing measurements it would be easier to use that one instead of changing brands.

Thanks for the advice, Bama Rambler. Your logic makes sense. I'll have to check to see if the plumbing measurements are the same.

    Anybody else out there?
