    Check your pump seal.

Leaking between the motor and pump is most likely a seal leak.

You have to take the wet end (pump part) off the motor. The best thing to do is take the pump out and take it to a motor shop or pool store and have them replace it.

ok isnt the whole thing the pump? When you say take it apart are you meaning the black portion or the black and metal portion? Disassemble that portion from the "propeller" or fan correct?

    Re: Motor Housing leaking

The pump is two parts, the motor and the wet end. They're collectively called a pump.

I'd just take the whole pump out and take it to a pool store or motor shop.

You tube Nate. Also do a search on here for Whisperflo seal replacement, there are good instructions and pictures. Even though you don't have a Whisperflo It's basically the same, different seals of course.
