Curious if any Pool Tech can compare and contrast the Aquapro and Pentair brands of Heat Pump pool heaters.
I'm planning to replace a 9 year old Hayward heatpump which is pretty crusty in our salt air environment. The Haywards might be well though of, however my 2100 seems flimsy, goes together and fits cheaply, and the fins corrode in the salt air.
Over time do any techs have a reaction or experience as to how these two brands compare in terms of - holding up, how reliability, availability of parts, and the cost of parts.
Is there another good brand which will be cost competitive to these?
