I have been running my pool mostly at 1600 RPM which keeps my intellichlor all green for flow. I'm just starting up my heater for the season. Should I be running it at higher speeds when I use the heater or the same? Thanks
Let the heater tell you. If it has insufficient flow, it will let you know and not run. Find what speed it likes and bump it up a couple hundred rpm to account for your filter getting dirty.
Intellichlor is suppose to operate down to 25 GPM and you should have a lot more flow than that at 1600 RPM. Do you have a bypass for the cell? If you close off the bypass, you might be able to lower the RPM.
