I have an old pool 22k gal. The motor hums than pops the breaker, sometimes it starts right away. If i spin the shaft, then turn on the switch it starts right up. It is an old pump and motor, all the markings have been worn off. The motor has two bumps on it... I assume capacitor or capacitors. Do I change both? are the both capacitors?

If it has two bumps it has two capacitors. I would replace them both but you can just replace the start cap because if it'll run once it's started the run cap is fine. It could also be the centrifugal switch contacts since it sometimes starts on it's own. They should be under the back cover. I'd try sand papering them first.
