    Obligatory Introduction

Hello everyone. I am Kate. I live in Georgia between Atlanta and Athens. We have purchased a used above ground pool that is approximately 3 years old. We will be picking up the pool this coming weekend and ordering a new liner very soon. I am happy to have found this forum because it seems after reading through much information in the Pool School section we have been doing so many things incorrectly with our previous pool endeavors. I will post more about our pool in the Above Ground Pool section.

    You're done SLAMing when:
    1)You lose 1ppm or less FC overnight, & 2)You have .5ppm CC's or less, & 3)your water is clear.
