I've read all the posts about ozone being useless in a backyard pool. I wish I had read them before the pool was built last year. Too late.
I don't think it uses much electric-but does it have any benefit at all? Should I disconnect it?
Right now it only runs about 30 minutes each day when the pump is on high, that will go up to about an hour when summer arrives. The pump runs for much longer each day on low - if the ozone is worth running can it be run with the pump on low so it runs more time?
If it is not worth running at all can it be removed? Does a one year old UltraPure have any value on Craigslist or EBay? I'm taking offers if somebody on here wants to buy it
