How soon can I add chlorine after adding liquid stabilizer?

Multiple readings of CYA = 0 was confirmed (testing with old TFTKit chemicals, plus new chemicals I received today in mail, and at pool store). No wonder I had a hard time maintaing any chlorine levels

Poured in liquid stabilizer just now, how soon afterwards can I add liquid chlorine where I know it would hold better than before with zero CYA levels?

I used the liquid stabilizer on mine and I added bleach an hour later.

Okay - so a hour of pool circulating the new liquid stabilizer (CYA) should be reasonable before adding new chlorine? That's pretty quick - Thanks!

Yeah, the liquid CYA shows up right away in your pool.

For planning purposes, you can also ASSUME the CYA is in your pool (and dose chlorine accordingly) if you use powdered CYA....even though it won't show up as a test result often for as much as a week.
