Salt in pool

I am planing to start my pool in April first week.

Pool is crystal clear blue , running my pump daily 3 hours (Florida winter)

Question
When should I increase my pump run time ( now a days its 80 in days time)
Should I put 25 lbs of salt in pool !!
Do I need to put or do something extra before I start swimming ?

By the way I bought that refill kit which is on sale.

You'd need to test the current salt level before you add any salt to the water.

You'll need to increase the runtime when the runtime you're using now isn't enough. If the water starts getting dull it's time to increase it. I'd also increase it when the water temp approaches 70ºF.
