    New guy....New pool

    hey folks,

j-mac here...We just bought a house last July that came with a beautiful in-ground vinyl lined pool, using a Salt water chlorine generator system. A Pool pilot digital (DIG220) filtering a 23,500 gal pool.

I also have a Hot Springs Soverign I spa, and am looking forward to learning about these new toys of ours and how to care for them properly.

    Welcome!

I urge you to read Pool School. And order a test kit. Your pool can be so clear it will be the envy of all who see it if you take control of it yourself!
16K freeform gunite with spa; Pentair 4000 DE filter; Century Whisperflow 1 HP; Pentair Minimax heater.
Troublefree does not mean Maintenancefree. It's like brushing your teeth: You can spend a couple minutes a day and pennies a week or go to the dentist once a year and spend several thousand dollars.
A pool is like a pet - you have to feed it every day, even the days you don't want to play with it!
