My daughter has fibromyalgia. We are installing a heated fiberglass hydrospa (9x14) that will hold approximately 680 gallons and will be salt water. I'd like to add Epsom Salt for the healing properties. ANyone know if 1) will Epsom harm the salt water system 2) how much epsom salt is needed to attain a therapeutic value in a 700 gal pool?

Epsom Salt, or magnesium sulfate, is not good for salt systems due to the sufates, which can cause premature depletion of the cell. There is a similar application using Magnesium and Potassium Chloride... magnapool.com
Not sure you'll find a salt chlorine generator manufacturer that would recommend using epsom salt, as it does not contain the sodium or chloride components needed for chlorine generation.
