Hello All,

My pool been TroubleFree for so long. Have not superchlorinate for so long.
Yesterday my pool got its new awning/shade and the amount of dirt I have to content with is a fun factor for testing.

The old frames were steel. Lots of water enter the frames hollow. Lots of dust stuck and turn to mud.
Lots of corroded steel debris.

I know my water been stable due to my learnning at BBB University and I am only needing to remove particles and not organic problem,
here is the result..........

1 - Awning frame removal completed.JPG[/attachment:vap3nmyo]

2 - Awning frame changed to stainless steel.JPG[/attachment:vap3nmyo]

3 - Rust from old steel frame - only shown 20% of it.JPG[/attachment:vap3nmyo]

I was betting I will need 8 x 4.7 hours = 38 hours to get 8x turnover and get pool clean again.

Water 1 - 9 PM Day 1 water started to get dirty.JPG[/attachment:210fgbr4]

Water 2 - 11PM Day 2 or 13 hours later - recovery taking place - 10 PPM superchlorinated.JPG[/attachment:210fgbr4]
Dang, recovery is so fast. Not sparkling yet but much faster than I anticipated for a 13 hours pumping

Water 3 - 3PM Day 2 or 17 hours later slowly getting better.JPG[/attachment:210fgbr4]
Few hours later...........17 hours to be exact from 9PM last nite
I am very happy. I never actually got green water for two years and when I did, it was algae, this time its particle
and much easier and faster to clean. Indeed BBB University is AWESOME !!!!!!!!!

Sparkling is good but do you have access to a metal test; specifically and iron test? With all of that rust floating around some of it must have dissolved and is now is suspension. You might need to be careful about iron staining...

I dont have metal test kit. I shall see what I can find. The old steel awning frame been dropping rust here and there for the past 2 years and when not vacuumed in time it stained the tile  .

Thanks for the heads up.

40 hours later.........

I think it will need another 1 day to regain its full sparkling glory.
The last percentage needs lots of time.
