cleaner JVA not operating - Jandy RS6

I did a memory clear last weekend on my RS6 controller in a (futile) attempt to fix my misbehaving SpaLink controller.

However, now my pressure-side cleaner JVA is no longer opening when the filter pump program runs. When I look at the JVA assignment on the OneTouch, it says "open" on the Cleaner line. The other 3 JVAs appear to be assigned.

Anyone know what to do to get my cleaner valve to open when the main pump kicks on during its daily cycle? I'm assuming the setting was wiped out in the reset.

The valve will open when the program tells it to. Setting an on and off time should do it.

If the system reports the valve open, it needs to be reassigned to cleaner.

I seem to recall, and I may very well be wrong about this, but I thought that JVA was jumper/dip switch controlled.

Yes, I think it's #7 but it is a physical switch. a memory dump does not change the switch position. However, you still need to tell the unit you have one plugged in.
