Hayward T-Cell and Winter Closing

Hello,

First close on our pool. PB did when I was away and Hayward T-Cell is still installed. Shouldn't this be removed and stored in side?

The only manufacturer that I know of that makes this suggestion is Pentair. They also make a dummy cell for this and plaster curing periods.

From all the posts I've read in the forum, no need to take it out and I have a Pentair. Never took it out, but I also run the hot tub all winter with the cell unplugged. Since you are winterized, it wouldn't hurt for you to take it off and place it somewhere out of the elements, but you'll need to close up both sides of the pipe also. They suggest cleaning the cell also in the fall, if required.
