    some vacuum cleaner issues

Hey Ive got a salt pool, in ground type. Im having an issue withthe vacuum pool cleaner (the thing that goes around scrubbing the bottom)

There is no suction at the vacuum port where I plug in the hose for the vacuum scrubber. However there is suction at the skimmer. My pool has a flap that goes in the skimmer which is supposed to stop suction at the skimmer and creation suction at the vacuum port were I plug in the cleaner hose. It doesnt work though , still havent got any suction at the vacuum port. Im im all out ideas

    any suggestions?

Take that 'flap' (diverter) to the local pool store and have them check it. They'll most likely have one that will fit.
