Water temp?

Is there a specific temperature the water should be before you close the pool. Someone told us 55 degrees, but I have not seen anything on the boards that says this. Thanks for the help.

One recommendation is to wait until the water temperature is solidly below 60 degrees. Below 60 degrees algae is fairly unlikely to grow and when it does it grows very slowly.

60 degrees with a solid cover 50 degrees with a mesh cover.
