Living in NW Wisconsin we'll be ice fishing in a couple of months so I need to get the pool ready for winter. This is our first winter so I need some advice for those that have pools in areas that you can ice skate on. I would like to drain the water to just below the intake so I won't have to do as much filling next spring so I know the pool will be a solid block of ice. Is this ok to do? What else should I do besides keeping the water levels up, do I need to buy a winter cover or is the cover that came with the Intex ok for winter weather. How about the inflatable pillows, should I get some of those.
