Adding Deep end to 52" AGP

Hi guys. I just had a 52" AGP installed this summer(late summer). I like it and all but I am 6'3" tall and the pool is barely up to my chest. I had no idea deep AGP's existed. Is it possible to just drain my water, dig deeper(like in the center of the pool) and add a special liner to make it have a "deep section" ? Do some pool builders speciualize in this ? Would the whole pool have to be taken down ?
48 inches of water is nothing on a tall guy like me. :/

That should be no problem. The pool can stay up. You will need an expandable liner. I'm suprised your installer didn't recommend this option to you with your height. Some instalers might not do expandable liners but I would imagine you could find one that would.
