Hello all,

Could anyone help me out knowing what would be the recommendable model/size, maybe Hayward?, to replace a current sand filter that is too small for a 11,100 gallon pool? It is a SWG pool...

It is a 180TS with GPM of 40, brand "Inter Water" ?

The pool has a black algae problem and seems like the surface, pebble, won't be exchanged for tile for a while, so the filter should help as much a possible.

It looks very small, but don't know which one should be replaced with? Maybe a Hayward Pro-Series Top Mount (the current one has all pipes going through the top) maybe an S-270 that handles 74 GPM? not sure at all which could fit the space and do the job correctly until the pebble is replaced by tile or alike...

Also if you know any product vs. black algae would be helpful...

Picture attached of the current one..
