Finally a pool owner

It only took a month to level our site in our backyard for this pool in hot, humid Florida summer. Got it put up and filled, and signed off by the County Inspector after going through hoops with the permit office that it was a temporary pool and did not need to adhere setback requirements. Permit / planning said it did, so we had to level 10' more to one side to be within the setback from the side of our property and fence line  , then inspector came out looked at set up, looked at filter and where it was plugged in and commented that he was impressed that the actual plug to plug in the filter/pump had a GFI built into it. He then informed us that we could have put the pool anywhere on our property as it is portable :hammer:

So here are a few pictures of the pool, it is the Intex Ultra Frame 16 x 32.

Next is to build a deck, and a platform inside for our dogs to allow them to enter and exit with ease.

Ignore the backyard as we have three dogs that we have rescued and they have free reign of the back yard, no use trying to put down sod, they will just tear it up.

The water is almost clear, and we are only off by about a 1/2" from side to side, so pretty good for only using a shovel and a rake.

I hope to learn and be able to enjoy our pool for all the good information I have learned from this site.
