3/8 of an inch evaporation in a day??????

Looks like I still have a leak. According to the bucket test I lost 3/8" of an inch in evaporation and the pool lost 1/2 of an inch. Does 3/8" of an inch in evaporation sound right? I'm in northern AL and temps hit 88 yesterday.

I can lose ½" per day when the conditions are right.

At an eigth of an inch difference I'd run the test again. Make sure you have the bucket set in the pool water so the temp won't be a factor.
