I am getting quotes on a pool. I have 3 PB in mind each one is pretty much on par with each other except a swim up bar option. Want I want to do is have a sunken area about 3ft next to the pool. the legnth exposed would be around 10' long by 3' deep. My concern is the winter, 2 of the 3 PB said its not an issue the pool will be fine. The 3rd wants to poor an extra 6" of concrete on the wall to make is 16" think. Also wants to pour a 15' trench footer under that wall. This is what I was thinking. Any comments or pictures would be great. BTW I live in NY so the winter could get bad sometimes.
