coffee anyone?

how often should i be putting shocking?
we just had enough rain to almost run the pool over the top.... do i shock again after that?
the water hasn't cleared up enough for me to vac to waste .... looks like i won't be closing until october, but then again it is still in the high 70s and low 80s here.

If your water isn't clear enough for you to vac, you should never have stopped shocking. Clearing your pool is a process of continually replenishing high chlorine levels and at least daily, if not more, testing.

It is very difficult for us to give you good advice without you posting up current test results.

(The rain should have little to do with clearing your pool)
