Weight for Tail sweeper on Polaris

The tail on our Polaris comes above the waterline and sprays the windows on my sun room and leaves watermarks. I know I can order a tail weight that helps alleviate this problem. Is there a do-it-yourself tail weight that I can make or do I really need to order the one made by Polaris?

I don't know if there is any substitute, but if you shop around on line you can get some for a good price. They are wear items so you may as well get 5 or 10 at a time. And some tail scrubbers too.

tighten the silver allen screw on the back of the cleaner, should slow the water coming out of the tail
