solar blanket?

pool temp is now 71 after "IRENE".

Is there any good solar blanket (that lay on top of water)?

Or, solar fish or something like it?

Hoping to increase pool temp to 75 or so. Temps have been in the lower 80's and sunny, just a little chilling in the mornings.

Tons of good solar blankets. I've used the "blue" covers before. Mine last only about 2 seasons, then they start leaving blue bits of debris in the pool. They raise pool temps nicely.

I like the clear covers with bubbles. They transfer more heat than covers with color in them and will usually bring the temp up a few degrees on a sunny day. They keep you from losing the heat at night also.

Stupid question, they will not getting sucked in the skimmer while pump is running, correct?

The skimmer doesn't pull on mine at all. I just installed the Whirlwind aluminum real with a clear solar cover. Was hesitant about installing the reel, but its working our very well. I don't see how anyone could really deal with a cover without the reel.

I had great luck with the 16mil diamond clear this year, I live up north so temps are all over the place, it's a little heavy but the pool never fell below 80 even when we had weeks in the 70s and nights in the 50s.
