Polyquat, will it unused potion be good for next year?

    Hey:

I'm thinking of getting some polyquat 60 to winterize our pool. If I dose to directions, I'm going to have a bunch left over. How good does this stuff do sitting on a shelf? Would/should it be fine for next winter as well?

    Thank you.

As noted in this post, the official shelf life is 1 year, but in practice it should last longer than that with no problems since it is a stable compound. Just keep it in a cool place out of the sun.
