Hi guys. I have a Heyward S244T connected to a heyward 1HP 2 speed pump using flexible PVC and clamps. (2 up top). It leaks where the flexible PVC connects to the L shaped PVC fitting that goes into the filterup top. Its a little leak on 1/2 HP and a LOT on 1HP.
I have the clamps SUPER tight. What else can I do ?

Are you talking the white (opaque) stuff? I find that PVC (the white stuff)to be tough to clamp, it has too much hoop strength resisting the clamps. When I use it, I usually solvent bond it to a female pvc union.

If I want a clamped joint, I use the clear PVC that is reinforced. I have fixed leaks with that stuff by heating it carefully with a torch (not real hot), letting it cool then re-torquing the clamps.
