I just wanted to post a thank you to everyone here who helped with my problem and especially the folks that put this place together. Our pool is all back to normal, in fact it's better than ever. The water is crystal clear and the pool is balanced and maintaining itself perfectly now. 
Despite my tab auto-chlorinator my CYA levels is perfect. Glad I found this place and the borax tip. already new about the baking soda. :-D
