New to BBB just got my K2006....test strips are HORRIBLE!

I honestly can not believe how horrible test strips are. My PH is at 8.0, my CYA is 55, my FC is 4 and my CC is 0. Test strips stated I had NO CYA, and my PH was 7.2. Unreal! I plan on testing again in the morning. I'll do TA as well then.

Yes they are! I refer to them as "guess strips" since the odds of accurate testing with one is about the same as sticking your finger in the water to see what is in there. When I used them they read my CYA as 30-50 when in fact it was closer to 300.

Test strips are worthless when they "test" for more than one analyte in my opinion.

Ahhhh, another person being "schooled about their pool" ... you should see one of my first posts. It was in regards to pool strips, I think they should be outlawed outright!!! No good use for them, especially if you're color blind.
