My 18' x 48" Intex pool has been up for one week....I am upgrading the cheap little filter to a sand filter, and SWG system. Got both new pieces yesterday and assembled them today. Small problem - the pump connection on this unit won't accept a hose to connect the new filter/swg combo!
After attempting to jerry-rig a connector from readily available plumbing parts, I gave up and did a more exhaustive Google to find an adaptor that will work.

Oddly, Intex provided *3* adaptors to fit *non-Intex* filter/skimmers...maybe *one* of those could have been an Intex-compatible adaptor!!
Anyway, I could not find any mention of such an adaptor on the forum, so thought the link may be helpful to others!
