Just hooked up a Solar Pro II to try and get a little more temp into the pool, we only have a solar blanket now. My pump is on the north side of my pool so I needed to build a platform to mount the coil, so the coil is at water level. When I started the pump I noticed the pressure runs a little higher then before and the skimmer basket isn't getting pulled down as much. Is this normal or is there something I should look for?

That thing has so much restriction from the small tubing that it restricts the flow a lot.
Is that something I should be concerned about or should I try and get another pump just for the solar pro.
My personal opinion of it is, it isn't worth the trouble and I would disconnect it all together and get a real solar kit with enough panels to do the job correctly. But that's just my opinion.
