What type of brush?

I am having new plaster installed next week. I am reading about brushing it but i a wondering what type of brush. Soft bristle, hard? any ideas.

With new plaster go with a soft bristle brush. Regular nylon brushes designed for vinyl lined pools should be just fine. No wire or stainless steel brushes on fresh plaster!

 

[Nightmare]

I purchased a Wall Whale XL. It is very nice for the sides, but the tail creates so much pressure it is nearly impossible to push along the bottom. It feels like I need to switch back to the standard brush to get the bottom of the pool.
