Overwhelmed. Please help.

I have an Oyster Bay AGP sitting in my garage. It will be put together on Friday.
I need a skimmer, ladder, pump and I think a cartridge or sand filter.
I have an intex SWG--I can get a ladder off craigslist.
As far as the pump I believe I can get a 1hp 2 speed and that would be fine. There are SOOOO many options though I am overwhelmed with choices.
I dont know why one heyward 2 speed pump (1hp) costs 329 and another is double.
I dont know what size filter to get either. Any assistance would be appreicated....

How big is the pool and what kind of filter are you interested in?

Hi John. In all my overwhelmness I didnt post that. Sorry !
The pool is a 21 foot AGP.
I am either going to go with a Sand or cartrodge filter. Heyward seems to be a good brand but its only because I dont know any other ones and a lot of people seem to have them.
